STOCK S&W MAGAZINE WELL EXTENSIONS FOR 1911'S?

Hey guys!

I have a number of S&W 1911 frames (9mm, 38 Super, 45acp) in various flavors (regular line, Pro Series and Performance Center).

Three of my Smith & Wesson 1911's came with, I think (they were all second hand), factory magazine well extensions (like my DK in 38 Super, the 9mm Pro Series and the 45acp Performance Center).

Are the magazine well extensions a stock S&W part? If not, does anyone know who S&W uses for the magazine well extensions as I would like to add them to my other S&W 1911's.

I would address that question to S&W directly because you're guns likely did come with mag wells from the factory. I have two of the models you listed (the PC .45ACP and the DK .38 Super) and both came with a mag well.

You might as well get the factory part and not have to fret over how it will fit.

I finally got around to calling S&W directly.

I was told that the part number I am looking for is:

24763 0000

The factory magazine well extension costs $46 from S&W.

They currently have none of them in stock and I was told to call back in two weeks.
