Stock service pistol for PPC

I'm in the market for a 9mm pistol for NRA PPC shooting. The category is for the stock service pistol. I would like to be able to use handloads as well. (I have a Dillion SDB that I reload .38 wadcutters for PPC shooting; but reloading for 9mm will be new to me). What make/model of gun do you recommend ?

Check the rule book, S&W makes a PPC9 that's available only to LEOs that may meet the criteria. IIRC, it's basically a 5906 with the accuracy capability of a 952.

There also was a PC version of the 5906 that it almost as accurate.

You'll have to go through a LE sales outlet to get the PPC9, call the Performance Center to see if the accurized 5906 is still available.
