Stock trigger pull weight?

Anyone measure the pull weight on the stock trigger? what are you getting?

Didn't measure trigger pull weight, but my MP10 trigger was long, gritty, and heavy, I would guess in the 8-10 lb range. Almost everything I don't want in a trigger.

Replaced it with a Geisselle SSA trigger, Super Semi-Automatic (SSA®) Trigger, and so far, couldn't be happier.

Yeah, I hated my trigger pull as well when I first got it. I took the trigger out and looked at the mating surfaces. No wonder it was so chunky... It had paint on the mating surfaces, no polishing was done whatsoever. So I polished mine and it is quite bearable now. I still would like a nicer trigger, but it is good enough now that it will be the last thing I do to it.

I am sure a JP spring kit would have helped a lot.

I measured mine on a Lyman digital guage. It ran between 6.5 and 7.2 lbs--figure the average was clser to 7 than the 6.5. Replaced the trigger with CMC #3.5 and couldn't be happier.

That can be a concern, but with a little trial and error, a proper spring combination can likely be found.

So it looks like a couple of the above trigger group replacements should work, and I am willing to bet that a grey hammer spring with yellow trigger spring would be a good place to start with other makes of trigger groups.

Mine is just under 4 lbs. I guess we are part of the lucky few.

same here, about 7 lbs, and i replaced it with a CMC and love it

Mine is fairly new with only like 40 rounds run through it but the trigger pull is not too bad at 6.4lbs. I will go with a CMC soon but have too many other projects going now.
