Stocks ID ???

1910 to 1919 (or early 1920).

I'll have to dig out a pair along with a dime to decide whether they are for a K frame or an N frame. Both sizes used those stock during that period.

Edit: Well, I tried to do the visual comparison and it was only marginally successful. Probably K frame, but perhaps you could measure from top to bottom for me, or else try putting them on one of the two frame sizes and figure it out from there.

Definitely K frame stocks. The ledge on either side of the top round is the best way to tell the difference. Look at the attached images. Your set has some wear and has been refinished, but will still present well on an old M&P. The bottom edge of the stocks are quite rounded from use as well

Correction N on left and K on right.

Now what revolvers would they have come on?
Basically only two options: .38 M&P or .32-20 M&P. There may have been some .32 Long M&Ps made in that period, but they are so uncommon it is very unlikely this pair shipped on one of those.

If you can read the penciled serial number on the right panel, that might help us decide because they ran in different serial sequences. .38 M&P is much more likely, since a lot more of them were produced.

Gary, isn't it N on left and K on the right?

No visible pencil markings on the inside. I don't have any handguns from that time frame, so I tried them on this 1935 registered magnum, which is an N Frame. It is clear to see that they are too small for the frame, which kind of proves they are a K Frame.
