Striker Spring Question

The recent unavailability of good 9mm ammo has forced me to purchase brands made offshore. I have been suffering about 3% FTF due to light strikes on hard primers. I shoot an M&P Pro which has a 4lb striker spring. Would anyone be able to tell me if switching to a 5lb striker spring increase my trigger pull by a significant amount?

Yes it will increase the trigger pull, but only a little. Could not say exactly how much more, but I would guess less than 4 ounces more pull. Not much to guarantee no more light hits. Very easy to replace the spring.

Thank you Robkarrob. The springs are inexpensive and it's an easy install. I suppose the best way is to just do it and find out if the increase in trigger pull bothers me.
