At the moment I am playing with Hogue grips. They have a little shorter reach and make shooting double action a little easier. The grips on the 6" are the grips that came with my 686SSR, if I remember correctly.

Front Sight
Just talked to my smith about it.
Very soon I'm going to have the SDM gold front sight installed.
I put a SDM on my 625. That thing is like a beacon and I've noticed I actually had to ignore it, it's that bright.
Red sure works good for lots of people but boy does that Gold ever work great for me.

Don't know if you mentioned it but I was in the 4th divison, 1/12 Bravo company in March 1969 to Jan 1970. Thanks for your service.
