Getting ready to pull the plug on a legacy phone company that has provided my primary email address for decades.

Looking for suggestions for a good, free, long term alternative.

Appreciate your suggestions.

I have a gmail account that I use for most email along with a gmx account and one on my son's personal domain (hosted by gmail for business) that I use only for close friends and family so that it won't get spammed. Had the gmail for many years since our cable company dumped its email service.

You can't continue using your current address? I use both GMail and Yahoo, have used both for many years. No problems/preferences with either. Also have an iCloud address that I seldom use.

I've used my cfl.rr.com email for years. A while back I could log unto the forum, but couldn't post or reply to anything. Even thou I'd been getting notifications from this forum, it claimed I hadn't been. Only way to get things straightened out was to change my email address.
