Suggestions please

I peeled an apple with my Kershaw Leek and now it won't open automatically. Apparently apple juice got into the hinge and gummed it up. I've saturated it with oil, soaked it in alcohol and poured boiling hot water through the hinge while working the blade back and forth. It will work for a while then it gums up again. I don't have any wrenches small enough to loosen it.
Any ideas?
