This morning, I'm having my morning coffee on the banks of Bear Creek, just off the Gila River. This is in the NW corner of what was Mangus Colorado's Apacheria near the Gila Wilderness. Wish you were here, The coffee is good and the campfire is warm. Have a nice day.

It never happened without pictures. :D If some are posted?im not seeing them. :D

If I knew how to post photos, I would have. I'm so computer illiterate, I had to have the rancher whose Wi-Fi I'm using, show me how to get my laptop to recognize the signal. When I get home in a few days and have time, I'll download some photos and post them.

Sorry Master Chief--im also a self-proclaimed: "Worlds worst computer dummy" and were in the same boat on this one. Cmort, Chat-Phil and the rest are the guys to go to.:D

Im using a tablet and havent figured out how to post pics on it either. I can cut--but cant paste.

If you happen to get through Silver City on your way out, stop and have lunch or supper at the Curious Kumquat, for an amazing experience with some Gila-foraged ingredients. Tell Rob that Erich from Albuquerque sends his regards - that's one restaurant I've actually made a trip to visit.

Not being familiar with the location, I checked you out via Google maps. Looks like you're over there in the southwest corner of New Mexico hard by the Arizona border. Saw some nice videos on youtube of the local territory there -- box canyons, cliffs, river and creek, all really pretty. Looks like a good place to restore the soul out in God's Creation. And hot coffee to boot; does it get any better? :)

I sat by the fire tonight after sunset, gets a little nippy after dark, and man does it get dark before the stars come out. Sitting by the fire and the only sound is the creek and way in the distance some coyotes howling. Whenever I return to civilization, I really miss this. The wife says that I can only handle the city for about three weeks at a time, then I got to get out. Will be going home tomorrow afternoon, man do I hate leaving here.

If your in Arizona? stop by the Fort Courage TV set set.I forget where it is exactly? but was nice to see where the men of "F" Troop made their show at.
