Super dumb question

I have been carrying for the past 24 years here in sunny S. FL.
I have carried revolvers and semi-autos alike. This will be the first time
carrying a striker fired M & P 9c, I do however carry a striker fired Kahr PM9 with a very long DAO trigger with a round loaded. I am sure I know the answer, but given it's type of trigger is the 9c as safe to carry with a round in the chamber? My 9c has no mag disconnect or thumb safety. The holster I use (HighNoon Bare Asset) does cover the trigger guard. I know I have to do my job, "finger off the trigger" when drawing, etc. Opinions please.

The weapon is safe to carry with a round in the chamber. Whether or not you're safe doing so is another question. The trigger on the M&P is very similar to a very well tuned double action revolver.

The Bare Asset and Mr. Softy from HighNoon Holsters completely cover the trigger guard. No reason to get rid of the holster. I have used them for years and never had a problem. See photo attached.

Like all of my weapons, I always carry my 9c condition one. Perfectly safe if the operator observes all safety rules.

I recently bought a Remora holster (reinforced top, low profile to facilitate proper grip) and wonder why I didn't get one sooner.

does the Remora really stay put? That is my only concern-what if it slides down?

The Remora really does stay put. Have been using one for my Walther PPS and Kel-tec PF-9. Haven't tried it with my M&P40C yet, but as long as you waistband/belt is not too loose, the holster stays put. And with no clips you can take it out and put it back in without any hassles. Good quality at a great price.

It stays put. I had my doubts too, but it only took carrying it for a day to make a believer out of me.

I bought one and you are totally correct. It really does stay where you put it. On the better side, it not only fits my 9c, but also my 6906 and my Kahr PM9. One holster, 3 guns-how much better can it get.
