SUPERBOWL PREDICTIONS

I predict millions will watch it, including my wife, and hundreds of thousands of pounds of snack foods will be consumed and washed down with hundreds of thousands of gallons of beer. :D

I also predict that Monday morning it won't make one iota of difference in the lives of 99.999% of the people who watched. :)

Lastly, I predict that I will not give a rip WHAT happens in the game OR who wins - because I am one of the 99.999% ;)

Super Bowl Sunday will be my first USPSA match of the year, it would be nice to see Manning go out on top, but really doesn't matter. At least this year it won't be talking about the Seahawks score all day like it has been the past 2 years.

I agree that would like to see Manning go out
on top....if he goes out.
Superman Cam is a big linebacker with a rocket arm.
Speaking of linebackers...Vonn Miller could be a game changer.

TE G. Olsen.. 2 TD's....Cam will run in 2.

Panthers by 10...
38+ point scored.

The Panthers' major fault has been taking their foot off the gas in the second half.

They didn't do that in Sunday's game against the Cardinals, and it was something to see. There's a difference between beating someone and just stomping someone. The Panthers stomped the Cardinals for the whole game. It was pitiful, just pit-tee-full. I almost felt sorry for Carson Palmer, but Bruce Arians is such a jerk, all feelings of sympathy for the Cardinals quickly vanished.

I wouldn't want to have been Palmer today. He may do better in the future, but he'll never forget yesterday's butt-whuppin'.

Y'all can say what you want about Cam Newton. I used to couldn't stand the guy, myself. Poked fun at him every chance I got. But he's come a long way in five years. Arrogant? Maybe. Show off? For sure. A good quarterback? No. He's turned himself into a great quarterback. He's fun to watch. All Pro, and he'll be MVP.

Newton's also turned himself into one of the greatest running quarterbacks. He's 6'6" and at least 255 pounds. Would you want to tackle him? No other QB in the league is doing what he's doing.

I'm picking the Panthers. Not cause they're the hometown team. I think they're the better team. It'll be a hard game, I think, but the Panthers'll win in the end, and Peyton Manning can resume his new career as an insurance salesman.

Denver will NEED to score more than 21 points to win.
Or it could be a long day for the Broncos.

My prediction: Denver 32
Carolina 28
Manning calls it quits following the game. All is right in the world.

One team will win. There will be at least one outlandish call by the one of the refs. There will be some idiotic politically correct extravaganza at half time. The citizens will be charmed and entertained, and without throwing a single Christian to the lions.

Hundreds of millions of dollars will be spent and made by various entities. People will talk and argue about it for days.

Then we will wait a year and do it all over again with different participants.
