Survey - not a survey - opinions on the top five most beautiful handguns

What a fun thread!!!

My Top Five tonight... :D

#5. Single Action Army - I have always loved the classic lines (this one is engraved by Alvin White):

#4. K-22 Pre-War Masterpiece (Nope, this one is not engraved - but just look at those amazing lines, the first micrometer rear sight, the notched hammer, and the custom KB magnas don't detract from the package):

3. I have to throw the post war K-22 Masterpiece in there as well (this one engraved by Winston Churchill is one of my very favorites):

#2. The Original pre-war 357 Magnum (this one with a 7" barrel and most all the goodies):

AND #1. Has to be the post war 357 Magnum with a 3.5" Barrel (these three factory engraved pintos are some of my favorites)

There are lots of other beauties, but tonight these are the ones that came to mind. Ask me again tomorrow, and you may get a different five.:)

I it made thru the entire thread and was looking forward to posting my list, changing as I read the thread... then RK mesa posts... well... I like his pick of the day.. no matter what day.. any drift would feel disingenuous.. lol

I’m much more of an autoloader guy, so my picks go down that route. I’ll give specific examples, not just the design in general. All of these are also world class performers and top quality, so not just a pretty face.

Hard to beat a clean 1911, such as an ACW Prime.

Sig Sauer P210 Super Target

Smith & Wesson 952

CZ Custom A01-LD

Nothing I have compares to the artwork that RKMesa shares with us. However, I will offer some runners up.

1915 Colt Officers Model Target 38 (2nd issue). The blueing looks like you could swim in it.

Smith & Wesson 3rd Model Perfected. So simple & elegant to my eye.

The original Combat Magnum

Both of these USFA reproduction of single action army revolvers are flat top target models with Turnbull case hardened frames and Armory Blue finish

The hands down (and dare I say "drop dead") most beautiful handgun is the one that lives in my pocket since the Bruen decision.
