Someone posted recently about crossing over... from the Wheel guns to semi's.
I must say I haven't crossed over but seem to be equally enamored with both Wheel guns (Especially N frame and model 19's). I bought 15 wheel guns in the last 5 months. But.. I have have also become "addicted to the older S&W semi auto 1st -3rd Gen guns. MY 1st purchase was a model 59. It was NIB so I wanted a shooter so I picked up a 5906. Then I wanted a .45 all metal gun so I traded my M&P for a 4506-1. Then I wanted a CCW so I found a 3913 at a pawn shop last month. Then I wanted a 1st gen 9 mm so I found a NIB 39-2. Then I realized I had (2) 1st gen and (3) 3rd gen guns but no 2nd. So last night I bought a 459 off the forum...I am in serious trouble here...
That is 20 Smith's in 5 months...
Hello my name is Mike and I'm a Smithaholic..

Below are the current SW Semi's I have. Minus the M&P .45 I traded and the 459 that is enroute.

Nice collection!!

You need to add a 6906, the best double stack compact pistol has ever built IMO.

There is no known cure for your addiction though, that's the bad news. :D

Wow, impressive collection. These were all bought in the last few months?

Nice collection!

I too am a Smithaholic, however I just started and am a little behind. I am torn between the revolvers and semi autos. Just when I think I am going to go straight autos I see a revolver that I have to have and vice versa.

Finding this forum is like having a support group for my problem, except they keep encouraging me to buy. Which is ok since it helps me make good buying decisions.

Blessings and curses

Yes this forum is a blessing and a curse.
A blessing to the understanding of how to buy quality Smith & Wesson handguns and many related things. Also some great friends have already been made in the short time I have been involved with the forum.
A Curse: To my wallet:eek:
