Greetings gentlemen!

You helped me do a lot and that is the reason I would like to ask you for help again. Right now I am trying to resurrect an antique SW .38 DA revolver 2nd mod. with blue finish. Antique SW revolvers are not very common here in Europe and there are absolutelly no parts for them. I need the joint pivot screw and the joint pivot itself. Unfortunately David Chicoine is no longer selling parts for these firearms... Do you some for sale? Or any advice where to buy it? Here in Europe there is no legal problem with small parts, especial antique small parts, but US companies are usually not willing to sell stuff to Europe. However only barells, cylinders, bolts and frames are considered to be "main parts of firearms". The main parts can be buy only with import licence only. Fortunatelly in my state are antique firearms - made up to 31.12.1890 considered not to be firearms but collectors items.
thanks!
btw: if you have other screws for this type it would be great. the gun has experienced very bad treat in the last 130 y.

There is a company in Rapid City, South Dakota, called Jack First Gunshop that makes parts for obsolete guns. Their catalog is not online, but you can order a printed catalog for about $40. Or, you can give them a telephone call at the number in the link above. I don't know if they ship to Europe.

Another source for parts in the US is ebay. There are several sellers there that offer a variety of gun parts, but the parts you are looking for show up infrequently. The website GunPartAuction has parts for S&W as well as other makes of guns. They may have the parts you need. Again, I don't know if they ship to Europe.

Good Luck!
