rossi was worst piece of worksmanship i ever seen,rough,...sw is like a piece of art,...i going to get a pinned model 19 next......will these guns handle plis p much,i know it says it....dont plan to shoot much plus p,only factory loads

I mostly shoot Winchester .38 Special target loads in mine, but since I do carry +P rounds in the gun for personal defense, I shoot enough of those to remain proficient. This practice hasn't hurt the revolver at all.

I have a locker 642 that has 1000 or so +P loads and 1500-2000 standard pressure loads through it. Better today than ever. I've only shot a few hundred +P through my 637 as I don't shoot it much.

The 637 is my everyday/night carry...it'slike Amex...never leave home without it. Yes,it will handle +P...but your hands won't after a while. Occasionlly run +P defense loads through to get familiarized with it then shoot the bulk of it with standard pressure 38 for practise.
