SW Mod 29 no dash Ser # S185XXX, 4 inch barrel. Estimate 95% or better no box, no papers and (unfortunately) missing the cokes but comes with late model targets. For sale locally; appreciate your thoughts on fair value. Thanks!

Without pictures to assess it better, I'd ball park it at $800- $1K. It is a pretty early no dash and a 4" to boot. Your 95% may be 90% or 98% to others.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah; wish I could offer pics but no opportunity. I'm asking as I have have no personal experience with very early Smith's. I understand they are worth a "premium" but don't know how to qualify that term. Thoughts? Thanks!

I am really surprised that others haven't jumped in on this thread. The wrong grips are a big bargaining factor in your favor, as is the lack of box, docs., and tools. Check to see if the serial numbers all match- bottom of grip, cylinder, barrel etc.

What are they asking for it?
The 4" barrel is a plus but the missing Cokes hurts the value.
