I've recently purchased a NIB (from CDNN) S&W 5906 for use primarily as my home defense pistol.

I've had CT's on other firearms and was well pleased, anyone tried them on a 5906?

Just looking for input.

Thanks!

I have them on my 5943SSV. I love crimson trace grips but these models are somewhat annoying since I feel like I have to alter my grip to hit the button and activate the laser. On the revolver models, the laser activator button in center of the grip while the button on the 5906 grips is on the side of the grip. These are still worthy add ons but I just wish they made the activation button in the moddle and not the side

I have been thinking about putting CTs on a 5906 as well and I think I read some reviews (MidwayUSA?) with the exact opposite preference as orangehole; they liked the button position better than the revolver grips. I guess in the final analysis you have to try them for yourself. I'm probably going to get a set as everyone speaks highly of the quality and utility even if there are slight ergonomic issues.
