I will hopefully be buying a SW9 this weekend. Mint condition 1 extra mag. He is asking $275. That seems a little high to me considering a brand new SD9VE is $349. Anybody buy one recently and if so for what price?

When you say "one extra magazine" do you mean three (3) in total? Because the gun ships new with two (2) magazines...and new magazines (or even used, if you can find them) sell for $30 or more. If it doesn't come with two magazines, I'd say that isn't a good price.

Frankly, I'd pay the difference and get a new SD9VE. It has a better trigger, and you will get the lifetime warranty. (S&W isn't usually picky about that, but technically the warranty does only apply to the original owner...and you never know if it will be an issue.)

I already own the SD40VE, was going to get the SD9VE but this offer came along. I would pay $250 if it has everything. Haven't seen the gun yet, i wanted a little info on the pricing first before i commit to a price. The SD's are hard to find in my area right now(like every gun at this time :( ) might get it just because its available

I bought the 40 for $299 at the time, and could not find a 9 for 300 miles around and all the sudden Academy had gone to $320 and no stock at 8 stores, walked into one of my neighborhood LGS' and they had got in an SD9 2 hours earlier. Yes I paid too much, $326 but he threw in 100 rounds of ammo. I ain't griping considering what I have been offered for it although what I have bought is not for sale. I got all I want now except for one last toy and then I am done.

If you got an SD9VE for $326 plus 100 rounds of ammo, you actually did OK. Considering that you'd be lucky to find 100 rounds of 9mm ammo for $30 or less today...if you could find it at all. I paid $299 (before tax) and didn't get any ammo.
