My old cooler motor lasted 21 years..........

The new cooler motor only 26 months !!

Only $77 for a new motor and looked up on youtube how to do
the repair, while up on the roof.
This might be ok with you young guys that are flexable and have
good eyes and steady hands but..............

This old man found it a lot easier to take the motor and the mounting
bracket off the unit and to the ground and work in a nice chair with the stuff on a table.
Not that hard a job for a non-electrician and back to the roof in 40 minutes.
Tools needed: 7/16 socket, 1/4" nut screwdriver and a 5/32 allen wrench.
Going to be 80 degrees today.......... just in time.

The little lady did the most important job.
Holding the ladder steady !! :D

You're not bagging that thing in the winter, are you? The moisture buildup inside the bag will ruin the motor in a couple winters. Same for wind turbines, every time I drive by someone's house and see big black garbage bags in the roof, I see another failure lurking.

Yeah, but think of the electricity you saved with this new efficient motor.
