Swapping m&p standard sear with pro sear

I started shooting IDPA last spring with the purchase of M&P Pro 9mm. After several monthes I installed the Apex competition kit. Last week I purchased an M&P 40 and thought about installing the pro sear and springs I had removed from the 9mm. Any thoughts or suggestions?

All you can do is try it. If it wasn't that good in your Pro to where you went with the Apex then you might not see much change in your 40.
