First there is a real good episode of "how it's made" that visits the Victorinox factory. Worth keeping an eye out for.

Secondly, and the reason for this post. Did anybody see Amazing race this week? One of the challenges was to assemble a knife at a victorinox retail shop. They were given a tray of parts and instructions to make their own knife. Pretty neat.

Kind of like build a bear, but for pocket knives. Has anybody been there on vacation?

I was there last year and built my own knife. It has my name on the Victorinox blue case, and all the gadgets except the fork and spoon. It was not very expensive.
