Go into the Mac forums on the apple website. It's not as uncommon as most people think. They are still a lot more stable thsan a pc. I never had the power pc mac, just the intel. Could that possibly have something to do with it?

Come to think of it, I have an old hp 386 laptop running 3.1/dos5. Still works. I was surfing the net with that machine before most people ever knew anything about it. That was in the days when computers were fun.

Actually I was sort of joking, I have two Power Mac G4's, the first and last of the series.

When I first stated using them, a novice at the time, I was crashing on a weekly basis. Why, really didn't know what the heck I was doing.

Now, I don't run into any problems.

Do not own any with the Intel processor, so I couldn't comment.

Note: I also have a old original MAC, black and white screen, with a 1MB Hard drive
