The 32" case looks a bit short for a carbine and probably too small for an optic equipped AR 15. I'd rather have a 35" case tall enough to accomodate a decent sized scope. No leeway on the ends kind of exposes the bbl. to hard contact if you aren't careful. YMMV and I'm only going by the picture and stated dimensions.
