I like meeting interesting people, and there are a lot of interesting people all about us every day that have a story to tell if someone will just listen.
Amen to that! Just this morning I met an older gentleman walking by the house while I was out working in the front yard. I waved, he waved, we introduced ourselves and had a good chat. Bill grew up in Fort Worth at the end of the depression. He said they "didn't have much, but they had what they needed." He had stories to tell. As you say, everyone out there has a story waiting to be told. Just saying "howdy" to someone can bring in all sorts of enrichment.
A big "howdy" to you, Faulkner! Keep the stories coming!
