Well, once Talon started taking orders, I ordered some of the rubber textured for my Shield and for my M&P 9 FS. I hadn't tried them before, but going on some threads here, I went with the rubberized over the granulate texture. I have to say, these things are amazing! They improve the gripping surface immeasurably, and are so simple to install. Now I just need them to make them for the Springfield XDS and I'll be set!

I recently contacted Mike from TalonGrips and they are working on both rubberized and granulated texture for the XDS. He said sometime at the end of August they will be available.

Can anybody post picture of there weapon with Talon Grips!

My hands can get pretty sweaty when shooting. Can anyone recommend either the rubberized or the granulated grips as the better option?

I have the rubberized Talons and prefer them, but I don't have the sweating problem. The Granular Talons might give you a little better purchase with a sweat problem, but I can't say for sure. You might ask the guys at Talon.

To me the granulated grips are too agressive for my tastes. I'm quite happy with the rubberized ones...

I just got my granulated grips and installed them on my G27. I can tell you that it's catching my shirt something aweful. I took them off and cut most of the grip away. I now have only the strips that go in the finger grooves and the left side of the handle covered. I'm not sure if the rubber grips do this though.

I carry mine under an untucked shirt all the time and don't have any issues with the rubber texture catching my shirt...

got mine on for the Shield and they are great, super service too.

Same here went with the rubberized grips for the shield and love it!!! Even put some on my glocks and wow do they make a difference

I love the rubber talon grip on my shield. Does anybody else have an issue with the overlapping ends not staying down? Sometimes when I take it out of the case one or two of the ends are sticking up a bit.

Did you clean the bottom side of the overlap real good with suplied pad? If not then thats why. Also heated with hair dryer step 5 and pushed on firm while warm. Mine are firm in place and perfect. I really love the rubber texture.

I used a razor blade and cut the overlap off, then heated with pressure to ensure a nice bond ;)
