How hard is it to change hammers and triggers? Standard to targets.Is it a do it yourself or best left to gunsmith?

Assuming the hammer/trigger combination is "matched", that is, fitted at the factory for the period of production of your revolver, it can be a simple drop-in replacement for anyone capable of properly detail stripping the revolver.

If you factor in decades of difference between the gun and the replacement hammer/trigger, long action vs short action, it can get dicey, require fitting, or not work at all.

What is the model gun, year of production, and source of your TT/TH?
 
It is fairly easy to do, but one should have that handy dandy tool to remove/install the trigger rebound spring....

YEA I GOT TWO OF THEM ONE WITH THE OLD BEVERTAIL HAMMER AN TRIGGER ONE WILL FIT IN A H OLSTER THE OUTHER WONT WITH THE WIDE BEVERTAIL ON IT NICE THO FOR SHOOTING GIVES U MORE TO HANG ON TO NOT A LOT OF DIFF BETWEEEN THE TWO JUST ENOUGHT TO MAKE A DIFF ON HOLSTERS WITH A THUMB STRAP ON ONE I GRESS U COULD GET A DIFF HOLSTER FOR ONE THO ,I DO LIKE THE BEVERTAIL THE BEST THO BOTH ARE MODEL 19S MICKLE 6 INCH BARRLES
