Reading about the recent Taurus recall, those in the know say that if the safety is engaged on this pistol BEFORE the trigger is fully reset, weird stuff happens. However, this looks more like something like the sear has worn out of spec or been Dremeled IMHO.

This is a very old video from Brazil. There were some Brazilian police issue weapons recalled several years ago. That weapon is one of them.
