Hi all
Taurus no view. My scale says 10 ounces.
I bet this will be no fun to shoot, maybe ill try some

It's Taurus View. Came out a few years ago and has a clear polymer right side plate to save weight.

Nice concept for deep concealment and would be great in an 8-shot .22LR or 7-shot .22 mag!

Looks like a recall replaced the lexan see through side plate they didnt hold up.
Take a look.

I could see that in a 22 magnum. If nothing else, the noise and flash would be enough to deter an attacker.

I believe Taurus made the View, and then came out with the same gun without the gimmicky clear side plate due to popular demand. I'm not at all sure it's official factory name was "No View" but that's what it was popularly called.

Looks brutal. Never shot one. I did have one of the Taurus .380 revolvers that was relatively pleasant to shoot. Maybe some .38 Short Colt ammo....

Odd looking grip angle

I had one. Easy to carry, brutal to shoot even with target loads. Mine occasionally “skipped” a shot, jumping past the next lock.

I even made an oversized boot grip for it, still sucked.

Not obvious from the pics, but the grip frame curves to lie flatter against your body. If you’re right-handed.

Many years ago when I first started escalating my gun collection hobby, I stopped into my usual LGS to buy a Chief's Special SS snubby. The dealer pulled it out of the cabinet and I liked it. Then he pulled out the competitive Taurus model. It looked good too, plus it was touted as having a transfer bar and being a bit cheaper. I bought it.

Never could get decent accuracy. Tried many. many loadings and bullet configurations. Chalked it up to the short barrel. Beforehand I was a lover of 6" and 8 3/8 inchers.

Fast forward a few years and got a deal on a "real" Chief's Special. Accuracy was now no problem.

Don't get me wrong, the Taurus is a fine firearm. It just ain't a Chiefs.
