Has anyone used one of these? i was wondering how it rates compared to a pocket holster or IWB holster?

you will find it rates very low with those in the know.
might be quick and convenient but it leaves the pistol unenclosed which invites accidental discharge due to wardrobe malfunctions

I don't guess I know much but I have been carrying concealed since I was 16 and I am now 71. I couldn't tell from the picture how they fasten to the gun but a belt hook for a Colt auto.45 goes underneath the right grip panel.Before I knew about Barami hip grips I would tape a popsicle stick to the grip of a small revolver and I had a belt hook for a Colt auto. The S&W BG380 is a true DA so I would not worry about carrying it with one in the barrel with a belt hook. It is not a SA striker fired with a sorry trigger. Larry

It works great. Much more grip surface available compared to a pocket holster. By attaching the clip in the most forward position on the gun, it rides higher in the pocket and allows a much quicker draw.
