Is there anybody out there besides me getting sick and tired of Piers Morgan raving about assult weapons and gun control every night after night. And did anybody see Ted Nugent the other night put him in his place? Great Job Ted. I think you should run for President. You got my vote. Walking Dead.

Piers Morgan is just an opportunistic ARSS trying to make a name for himself and boost ratings over the Country's hottest issue. When this cools off he will just be another left winger with an accent and his ratings will again drop as they should. He is just an arrogant maggot looking for a meal at our expense. The word despicable comes to mind actually!

While Ted reflects a lot of OUR opinions and views, I think it would be a mistake to bring him to the forefront of our fight. IMHO he might be a cool guy to hang out with and smoke a Stogie and have a drink with, but he is certainly not a person to try and convince the opposition especially with his style. A more "socially accepted" person or celebrity (Tom Selleck, Bruce Willis - to name a few) would be a lot more effective IMHO. A few Magnum PI style winks directed towards the Liberal Ladies would do a lot more for our cause than a guy dressed in Camo with blood on it. Just saying.............

Essentially you're correct.Ted has issues with credibility and is considered more of a character and entertainer than a voice of reason. To affect any significant change in today's America one has to appeal to the masses as much as it appalls those of the so called informed and/or educated, and Ted is just too polarizing to both. His fan base is usually counted as a fringe demographic.

I saw something on the news about a bunch of celebrities gathered together who were for gun control. Tony Bennett was among them.

There was also Chris Rock who said something along the lines of "We should support the President and do what he says because he is our boss".

I'm not so sure about that. I would question the value of someone like Ted that our foes could hold up as a stereotypical example of the average gun owner and enthusiasts.
Let's face it he does have some image and credibility issues and probably why he was booked on the show in the first place.
I would much rather he not speak for me.........
