Television Programming

I finally have my problem resolved by no help from any of them.
Had to totally sign off and sign back in like a new customer and wal- la everything came back as it should have but those morons couldn’t see that?
We are saving a considerable amount by giving up Direct and all their boxes as well!
It’s funny that when you are a long sending customer they do not want to reward you with anything, but boy when you cut them off they’re ready to play let’s make a deal?
I’m getting more channels and more movies with the RoKu set up then with the premium service from Dorect that I was paying big money for! ;)

Girlfriend watches lots of TV. We even got a giant new TV this week. But I have not watched the TV for more than 5 minutes at a time on about 10 years. I used to put a movie in the DVD player once every month or two. But with the new TV all set up I have no idea how to make that work anymore. It has all sorts of wires coming out of it any going to little boxes with lights. I don't know what any of that stuff is. I have no idea what any of you are talking about. I can turn the TV on, but can't figure out how to make anything come up on the screen. I give up on TV. Just a big waste of time anyway. I have a radio out in the workshop. Good enough for me.

I have a Roku.....

....and one of those flat flexible stick on antennas to get local channels..

Between Netflix, the Roku and the antenna we get all we need

That thing about changing horses in mid stream seems to be common these days. I don't know too many companies that stay the same for more than a few years then they are bought by someone else.

Wife recently purchased a 4k TV. Looks like our bandwidth usage increased quite a bit streaming 4k content-- we binge watched Vikings in 4K. Now with the Rokus... will be interesting to see if we get close to the 1TB limit in our plan. We get a couple 'courtesy' months to go over 1TB with no charge. With all the iPads, iPhones, Macs and TVs... I bet we got over a dozen devices that can stream. Maybe I'll crank em all up on Netflix, Amazon Prime and AppleTV for a day and see if we can top 1TB. :D
