I've probably owned three or four hundred handguns over the years but never a 32. So I'm in the local pusher's today, and he has a Model 16-4, .32 H&R with a 4" barrel. Condition is about 95%, the action is excellent, no box or tools and Pachmayer grips (I can fix that easy enough). He wants $350 for the gun, 3 boxes of ammo and reloading dies, but I can probably talk him down a bit. I'm trying to convince myself that I "need" this. So give me some reasons to "need" it.

At that price, who needs convincing? That's a great price for that gun even without the ammo and dies.

I paid alot more than that for a 6" 16-4 and am pleased w/the deal I got. .32 H&R mag is a fun caliber to shoot, very little recoil and can be loaded hot enough to rival .38 spcl.

Want to make $250 real quick? Buy it all and sell it to me!

Oh, you NEED this gun. If you don't buy it, it will haunt you for the rest of you life!!

Run, do not walk, back the LGS gun store and buy it!! That price is way below what they cost now days. I love the caliber, hardly any recoil, and very accurate. We have a search feature called "tags" and using 16-4 here are some of the recent discussions. Buy the gun and enjoy it, plus remember we like pictures!!!

I would hurt my wrist getting my wallet out to pay that for a nice 16-4. I am in denver if you dont want it let me know where it is and I will drive up and pick it up.

That little voice screaming "Buy it! " in the back of your head should be listened to . . .

i'm with peyton...buy it...thats a steal!i have really enjoyed mine...around here they will bring 800-$1000 based on condition,box,etc.

OK, you guys talked me into it so I went back to the shop this afternoon and bought it. Turned out he had the box, papers and unopened tools after all, so that was an unexpected bonus. Still didn't have the original grips though. I'm not quite sure yet exactly what I'm going to do with this thing, but I have a little ammo now so maybe will try it out on some prairie dogs up on Iggy's place. I know pics are mandatory so will post some up when I get a chance to take some. I'll say this - it's a cute little thing and looks like it might be fun!

Here are a couple of quick pics. Sorry for the quality, they're crappy phone pics but that's what I had at hand for now. Had to lose the Pachmayers - I just can't abide by them. I think I did OK on this deal.

Congratulations on a good deal! You'll enjoy it, and you have a good story to tell for many years.
