State-based pro-gun associations often generate more interest than national organizations. State gun owners and sportsmen are now beginning to realize that their state organizations are almost completely concerned with local (meaning state) 2A issues and pending legislation, whereas the big national associations are almost required to have their fingers in every Second Amendment pie in every state in the union.
