I too own several Rugers.A few minor issues, but, it seems that the more recent Rugers have quite a few issues. I Also understand that their Cusomer service lately has been a big problem. I only dealt with C/S once. Sent a gun for repair under warranty. Came back exactly the same as when it left. Didnt fix anything, but was told it had been.
Give me S+W any day over the Rugers.

All of my .22's are Rugers, 10/22, Mark II Target, Bearcat.
All of my other pistols and revolvers are S&W. I am more
than happy with this arrangement. My MKII was tight when
it was new, but after a couple hundred rounds it has been
perfect for the last 10 years or so.

well i was fortunate today to sell the 22/45. got what i had in it out, about 320.00. now to find that good 422/622!
