I saw a couple of posts about Grands and Great Grands and realized I haven’t caught y’all up on Sarah Grace lately.
She turned six about three weeks ago, and is growing like a weed! She is in Kindergarten, and her teachers are crazy about her. She loves school, and is really reading at an amazing level for her age. She played basketball this year in the Upward program, a Christian based program sponsored by a Baptist Church in the town where her mother teaches. She loved it, and it turns out she is very competitive. She loves the farm, and generally loves being outside. Of course she got lots of Christmas loot. When her K-garten teacher asked her students what their favorite was, she said, “My rifle my Grandy gave me!” Her Barrow Guns hoodie and tee shirt are her favorite garments.
I’m blessed!

You are very blessed with a smart, beautiful, and talented Sarah Grace. I’m not sure how the Upward Sports program works, whether it is nation wide, but in my travels for works years ago, I remember driving by their complex near Spartanburg, SC. It appeared to be a very nice and large. I bet she has a fantastic time.

Glad to know your doing well Red. Grandaughters are great, my oldest twins are in college yet call every day. My youngest brother now lives in Quitman. Have thought about a back road trip to see him and come thru your way.
