I told myself 6 months ago I was only going to collect J frames. I even sold several K frames to show myself I had the self control to collect a specific frame size...
Well, I was going through the safe tonight and I found a 38 M&P "Airweight" snubby I just bought... a nice model 10-5 snubby I picked up somewhere, this 15-3 I found at a gun show and couldn't pass up for the price..and a 66 no dash that I couldn't say no to because it was a...no dash.
Now, I am doing well acquiring / collecting J frames but these pesky snub nosed K frames just keep ending up in my safe.
Oh... and back in the far reaches I also found a 64-6 snubby.
So I guess I should stop fighting it and admit:
1. I am a S&W addict with with a love for all things S&W
2. I am as much a snubby addict as a J frame addict..I think I only own 1 J frame that is not a snubby.

Here is the 15-3 I picked up at that gun show a couple of months ago. I added the stocks.

I feel your pain. I gave up having an actual direction
for my gun collecting years ago.
If it's wearing a S&W logo, I'm interested.

nothing wrong with a j-frame, I myself like the Ks, I've had two snubbie 15s, -3 & -4 one blue one nickel, sold the blue one to get the nickel. but I think the 1905 style half moon grips fit the hand much better than original grips. maybe its because mine are made of stag....just something about a nickel smith with a stag grip that just makes me go bonkers!!
