The Bad, The Less Bad and The Ugly--New Jersey Handgun Purchase Permits

It was never an easy process. In 1977 I bought a 19-3 from Meltzers in Garfield. At the time I was “I&A Police” at a state “ residential hospital” which made it faster but not easier. I didn’t buy another gun until I moved to Florida a few years later. It’s a shame that the part of the country most responsible for the creation of this great nation has the least freedom regarding “2nd Amendment options.” Joe

Some places are on my "NFE" list (if you knew Pat Rogers, you know what that means, if you didn't, I won't take the hit for defining it): NJ; MD; WI; MN. I have only gone to CA to assist a cop friend with some of the aftermath of his OIS. I suspect that when I retire, I will leave WA and not come back except for medical care (I'm waiting for a kidney transplant) because some of the same stupid laws are being imposed here.
