The Basement...

I left my Basement in my old house! My new home (no basement at all) has a 3 car garage and my work shop is 1 of the 3 bays. Oh yes - fully air conditioned and has a 10.5 ft tall ceiling. I've got many saws and some axes but not as much as your collection has. Not quite the shop I used to have but still nice enough for me these days. ;)

One of the blades , that you posted sent chills down my spine.
It is hanging below the second hack saw on the right.

That and several larger ones with a handle on both ends,
kept my twin brother and I, very busy in our younger days.

Very nice collection by the way.
Nothing like a good saw that cuts correctly and fast, instead of one that
is hard to start and jumps all over the place or "Walks", while working.

Oh;
and double blade axes.
Been there done that a lot when my father thought that I old enough.

I guess, those were happy times ?

I have a couple of my Dads Disston saws Unfortunately I neglected them and they are rusty hanging in the garage:o
I have all his old tools, several nice hand planes and other stuff.

No thanks, a log that big calls for a chain saw. A friend who knew I liked saws gave that one to me. The original shipping sleeve is right below it. I can see why it was never used!
