Thanks for posting my pic Bro,

You gotta love those worn smooth diamonds, was thinking about replacing those origionals.....NAHHHH!!!

58 years old and still hanging in there, seeing occasional use.

Since the precedent has been set how about a 78 year old Colt Banker's Special in .38 New Police (.38 S&W). Just the thing for those wimpy bankers who couldn't handle the the recoil of the Detective Special and its .38 Special cartridge.

 Very cool old pieces! The old Chief is very cool, and I would love to find a Banker's Special like that. I have some 215 grain LFP .38 S&W handloads that would feel right at home in it. ;)

This is my worn little "Cheif's Special Airweight" from 1954, I carry it always, as did the local Detective Deputy for 35 years. Greg

Love this thead, here is my offering, a 3" Mod 36 that I picked up a couple of years ago, not sure of year, some pitting on left side of frame but the action is smooth as silk. And a couple of Detective Specials I have aquired, since others have posted them, I don't feel like i'm sinning by including them. All three have quite a bit of wear and tear, wish I knew their stories.

1972 Model 36 no dash with a bobbed hammer (Done in my father's basement, he dropped and bend the hammer) I don't have the pics but under the stocks there are more creaters than on the moon.
