The best packin' stainless N-frames ever made?

Here is my favorite 629 for packin'.

Thomasinaz I was in the same boat on my job and they stopped me from carrying.......

Now is carry a 627 Pro Series in a duty rig on the range and when I am struck working in the office I carry the 627UDR. Changed up from the 625JM after testing on a Honda Accord at
40 yards. 158 grain JSP .357 Magnums really get the job done. I carry the revolver just to p---- the brass hats off. They want me to go to a Glock bottom feeder.

How well does your SAA "45 Automatic" shoot? Any problems with reloads going too deep in the cylinder and the primers not being struck?

I guess you liked the gun if you were carrying it what do you think of the build quality.

I have always wanted a "Colt" SAA for a fun gun, but do not want to start loading a 45 Colt, and they do not make them in 44 Mag and I do not want to fool with 44 Special cases, but one in ACP does sound intresting...

In the 'also ran' department - perhaps a good 'runner up' choice might just be the 'Governor'! I know, it's a stretched cylinder opening N-frame - with black SS barrel & cylinder - and Al/Sc frame. But think of the utility...

Ammo? You have anything .45-ish? It'll probably shoot it! Even 2.5" .410's. And - the day I brought it home last June I checked S&W's site - they had a holster! I had one by week's end.

Okay, perhaps just a bit of levity...
