The Best Red Dot Sight For M&P15-22

While I haven't used or even seen the multi reticle unit primary arms sells, I tend to stay away from the multi reticle units. I have not found one yet that can hold zero between reticles.

So if I get the M3 clone with the high can't mount, will I need to get a riser to co witness the sight or will the high can't mount be enough to do it?

the high mount from Primary Arms makes everything line up just right

Finally got my red dot sight! Thanks for the suggestions everyone.

Now, can somebody point it to a tutorial on sighting a rifle? :\

Thanks for the info....I ordered a M3-multi today from Primary Arms.

Given the use for the 15 22, I elected to install the Walther PS 22 purchased from Midway. I currently have a m&P15T with an Aimpoint ML3 installed and like that system very much. When I purchased the 15 22, I chose the Walther PS22 because it is similar to the ML3 but much less expensive. It comes with a very sturdy mount and it coindexes with the factory iron sights. I also purchased a pair of Magpul BUIS sights to replace the factory sights. The factory rear sight will be installed on an early MP15 that is the standared m4 configuration. I purchased an Aimpoint Swede military sight from Midway when they had them. That is how I configured that early M4. They are great rifles. When I get a chance, I will post a photo of them.

I went with a Vortex Strikefire, just because of the unlimited lifetime warranty.

Here is my sightmark mounted to my rail with the 15-22 sights. If you look hard enough, you will see the red dot. This was more of a test for my camera than anything.

The Sightmark reflex red dot is awesome! buy it you wont be sorry.
Easy to sight in
Holds zero really well
I sighted it in at 25 yrds and holds all the way out to 50
I was shooting a playing card at 50yrds standing and was hittin it pretty good
Great sight picture, better than a tube in my opinion
Battery lasts for ever.

I bought a True-Glo Red Dot that works fine. Just set it on the rail, tighten it up, and shoot. I still like iron sights the best.

That's it! I've had it! You leave my husband alone. He's no longer allowed on the smith and wesson long gun forum. He'll be on " The lounge " talking about politics.:D:D:D

Sorry about that Mrs Punishment. But before Corporal goes on permanent time-out could you tell him about the new tactical bi-pod with six speed automatic hand grip. I'm pretty sure needs one.

Have mercy...
