Just figured Id pop up a quick pic of the boys to show off. the 6 incher is a first year K53 jet. This was dads gun, and he shot it a LOT! Back in the 60's and 70's he did a lot of competive shooting, and early on he used this. Had a scope setup for it and everything. Its sent a LOT of jets through its barrel over the years, and eaven had to go through a repin. Ive had this one about 3 years now, Havent shot it near as much as I want to! Right now shes wearing her 22LR cyl, and is taking it easy running normaly 22's. Well.... at least till I get the reloading setup going, and start cranking out some more Jets!!!! It shoots REAL well. its a tack driver, and has the best trigger feel EVER!!! Ive never had anyone pick it up that didnt go.... "ohhhhhhhh" after that first trigger pull. :D.

Next up is a model 19-3 4" . This was also dads, and this one I just got. Sadly we lost dad last month, and he had left the pistols to me. He did some target shooting with this, but manly it was his sidearm when he was hunting. This is a nice shooter for sure, and I tell you... going from the 22, to 38, and 357 is a lot of fun!!! Along with the smooth targets that are on it now, I also have a set of the normal target grips like the Jet has. Im not sure what came on it new.

I'm sorry to hear about your Dad. I lost mine almost 14 years ago but didn't get his M19 until last May when we lost Mom. It's a different world after they are gone but at least I have great memories of them.
Congrats on getting your Father's 2 nice S&Ws. If you feel like me you'll never get rid of them.
The M19 more than likely came with the checkered targets.

Thanks guys. Ya different world for sure. Lost mom 3 years ago Tuesday. Guess that's a fact of getting older.

I also got two high standard 22's. Real nice shooters they are also
