I am getting close to having 50 3RD Gen Smith's and the other night I decided to see what was my first bought. I thought it was a 3913LS I had bought for the wife but it ended up being my CS45 Stainless. Good job on completing the set!

Yea You! I coulda, woulda have had the set as well but I stupidly sold the CS40 (decided I wouldn't carry it so why keep it...you are so much smarter than me).

I'm kinda on the lookout for a CS40 now...but I've gotten "thrifty" in my old age (cheap is the proper word) so I'm hunting for a bargain "shooter."

I have profound respect for what it took to find those three in that condition.

I've been trying, for years, to accumulate one each of every possible CS variant. Between calibers, finishes and TDA/DAO, there's a bunch. I believe I'm still three shy and none of mine are in NIB/ANIB condition.

CS40D Black
CS40 Two Tone
CS45D Black

Good for you. Glad i bought the CS-9 stainless back in 99. Have not seen one used come up for sale in my area at all. Maybe more popular now than when they first came out. Micro compacts seem to be more popular these days.
