Seeing Animal Mother's pic got me to thinking about what is the minimum daily requirement of "stuff" to carry...

#61 Gazelle holster

My usual "essential trio:" 638-3 (with J.W. O'Rourke pocket holster), Kershaw Tanto Blur, and Streamlight PT-2L.

Not pictured: two speed strips in Tuff Products pouch, keys, wallet, phone.

I don't have a pic, but: 39, spare mag, spyderco, wallet, keys. That's the total stuff I have on my person.

Just a 642. Don't even bother with a reload. No flashlight, no knife, nada.

Keys (as few as possible, too), wallet (breast pocket style - they're small wallets - in back pocket), phone.

Same here, very minimal. I cant stand toting around a bunch of junk in my pockets.. I Don't carry at work, working out, running, snowboarding, ect.. Some ppl are crazy about carrying, I swear they'd carry a gun while swimming if they could...

except mines a 442. Id have a 340pd JUST to save weight, if they were cheaper..

Here's a couple of pics:
"Heavy" aka I wear a buttoned shirt or jacket. 39-2 in vintage Safariland Klipspringer holster, 3904 mag in Desantis pouch, wallet, keys, Spyderco.

"Light" aka I wear whatever I want. Bersa 380 in Matrix holster, spare mag, wallet, keys, Spyderco.

No. I'm 5'11", 215, and wear 32 pants. My waist doesn't allow any of my guns to hit the seat before my rump. With the 380 especially, there's a good 3" of jeans between the muzzle and the chair.

In retirement: Wallet, keys, cell, & 442 w/speed strip. Cool weather is helpful b/c I wear a jacket and have more pockets (pocket carry is my normal mode).

Glock 33 and spare mag, cell phone, usually with blue tooth for hands free use, Surefire G2X flashlight, knife. That's the minimum. ID case of course (not in butt pocket; too easy to hurt nerves and muscles); keys, maybe some cash. Sometimes a J frame, but those are generally used as a BUG, not a primary handgun. (Handguns are by definition secondary personal weapons ...)

nice! im guessing your pretty buff? (no-gay) haha.. Im 5'11" 186 and am really close to fitting a 32 pant again.. I lost 35lbs over the last 5 months and been lifting.. Its way easier to carry a gun without a belly/backfat in the way.

It's cool. I am active duty and work in SPECWAR. PT is life.

Generally, I carry my M&P 9mm and a reload, keyring with my normal keys plaus a seperate keyring for whichever vehicle I'm driving. Also cell phone and wallet with badge and agency ID.
