I shot the LCP for the first time today. Never shot a tiny .380 before. I love this little gun! It has some kick, but easily to manage. It's VERY accurate (as all the reviews said). Being a second version LCP, it has normal sights as opposed to the older ones with the useless low pro sights. And the laser was awesome, I was shooting from about chest height under my line of sight and the laser put the rounds exactly where it was pointed.

Definitely happy with my choice.

I have the LCP and like its size and reliability. It fills a deep concealment roll. I understand what's being said about double strike capability, but then again, if it doesn't fire the first time, its time to eject the bad round and get a fresh one chambered instead of maybe wasting time trying again to ignite a bad round, then rechambering.

My wife and I both like the LCP (with the low sights). She carries it in a Flash Bang bra holster when she's hiking and I carry it in a Desantis PH in my back pocket whenever she hasn't claimed it. I'll have to get another. It's just too convenient. I even carry it when I'm wearing my 1911.

As an aside and since this is a S&W forum, I have to comment on my new 9mm Shield. It's fantastic! (Don't tell anyone, but it might replace my 1911 as EDC.)

I probably carry the Shield more often than my other guns but that's because I stick it in my pocket as soon as I get home from work but if I'm leaving home I carry the 6906 or the 4006.

I wouldn't carry the Shield any place I could carry something bigger

Bigger magazine and a longer barrel. I couldn't carry the Shield at work because it doesn't meet minimum barrel length requirement for my company and I wouldn't carry it for church security for the same reason.
