Right you are Dick! I needed the O/S Eagle grips for my big mitts. Great little guns.

Hendricks, those are really great, that is a very nice kit gun collection you have there. I am really interested in the early ones, with the half round sight blade.
Hmmm, maybe someone just for some fun mind you, should have Keith carve up a set of "prewar J frame magnas" for a gun like that early square butt of yours, what a hoot that would be!

Here are a couple Model 34's I am very fond of. The 4" gun is one a friend traded into. He kept it for me several months until I had a little cash to get it. I really appreciated that. It is a real shooter too.
I burned with desire for the 2" gun until I found a really nice one. People don't think you can hit with it, but you can. It is a lot of fun on the range.

Sorry for the stupid question here, guys, but what makes a S&W revo a "kitgun" - interchangeable cylinders/calibers?

Thanks!

Not a great picture by any stretch. This is one of the BP guns from 1970 that had major timing issues. The hand ring on cylinder looks like it was done with a pipe cutter. But after several repairs, thousands of rounds and 37 years of service its still my all time favorite Smith.

Nice pix you guys!

Hanweii - very pretty - two paws up for the pix & composition
