My son was over here in my ear complaining that his car wasn't up there. He's only had one. Not sure the make, we got it second hand, the mileage is good depending on how much he eats, it could use some new rims though.

1. 1970 Torino Cobra 429 4 speed. Awsome first car for a 17 yr. old kid.
2. 1973 GTO 400 automatic.
3. 1973 K5 Blazer 307 3 on the tree.

I worked 2 part time jobs at gas stations to pay for the Torino and keep gas in the tank. This was in 1974, my senior year in high school. In 1976 it was turning into a rust bucket so I traded it on the GTO. I only had it a year and needed a 4x4 for work so it got traded on the Blazer.

Florida Guy, I don't know how you fit in that MG Midget either. In 1971 my buddy and I took his 1967 Midget on a two week tour of Lake Huron. We managed the bare essentials and a pup tent in the trunk. We even spent one night sleeping in that little car during a rain storm and too poor to afford a motel.
It was a great time in that little car and a time I'll never forget driving top down and not a care in the world.

My 1st was a wore out '65 Plymouth Belvedere, 2nd was a '71 Firebird Formula, 3rd was '80 Cutlass Supreme. Wish I had my Formula back.
