Not on the Batmobiles, but on me. I went in to the Echo Lab at the hospital to get my heart checked out for routine maintenance. Cardiologist said one valve was narrowing but it wasn't anything that would be any issue to be concerned about for several years. So I guess I'm good for another 2 years or 20,000 miles.

Well, as the old song goes:

I worry about this little (generally curable) prostate cancer like I'm ready for my last rites, then I see several of my friends with pig valves, stents, and built-in defibrillator/tracking devices and all the work done on their hearts and think to myself when they finish all the "tests" and treatments coming I don't know how close to death my friends were with their heart issues, while my doctors think this is gonna be a breeze for me. My fellow School Board retiree friend just had his device checked & rechecked the other day, then his heart doctor visit, no issues, so he's good. Glad the old tires are still holding air, Mr. Golddollar! (BTW, I was 3 years old when Maz hit that home run!) I'm happy to see all the guys with heart issues back to normal. Modern medicine is pretty remarkable! Everyone I know who's had these heart rebuilds said they would've been dead 30 years ago; or less than that. One nice thing about where I live is the great health care/research centers all at our fingertips.
