Rick's post makes my first wife look good.

My second wife is so busy filing bankruptcies these days that I'm lucky if she gets home by 8:00 PM.

I don't think that women should be forced into the role described above, but I also don't think that we value it for what it's worth these days either.

I actually think that because we devalue the role of homemaker so much that women (and maybe men) who play that role are pretty defensive, and sometimes that's one of the reasons they complain so much.

Of course another reason may be that they are just nasty by nature and nuture.
