The hand-built illegal gun trade in Philippines

Meh..... Put them in the USA and have them speaking English and you've got the old Colt factory turning out finely tuned, hand fitted firearms like they made in the good old days with none of the new fangled MIM and CNC machining. Just like bootlegging moonshine only it's in the Philippines and it's 1911's instead of Appalachia and whiskey.
Years abo I watched them make a 1911 from a railroad rail. What a determined populace can do when they have to....kinda like the USA used to be.

I watched a tv show about this a while back . Reminds me of the vc , for those of you that remember them . They would take our discards and make all sorts of weapons out of them .

Here’s my Filipino Bolo, made by Negritos, a Tribal Mountain People.
Most likely started life as a car spring.
Water Buffalo Horn on the handle.
Bought it at the Jungle Survival School Snack Bar, Clark AB, Philippines.
The Snack Bar was operated by Negritos, who had a side hustle selling stuff.
